The archetype of terroir vineyards, Burgundy's soil conceals many wonders even before we talk about grape varieties or wine. Come and understand the slow evolution from the Triassic to the Jurassic periods, from the fragmentation of granites to the recalcification of sandstones, from the influence of marls to the water capacity of clays... A journey through time and matter, a tasting of six white and red wines from the Côtes du Couchois to better understand the typical characteristics of Burgundy and the influence of what are known as climats. Come and taste a little of our land, which we offer you through a fantastic vehicle called wine.

Owned by Château de Couches, Cave de Mazenay cultivates more than twenty hectares of vines in the Couchois region and produces wines in the purest Burgundian tradition, without pesticides or herbicides and with minimal sulphites, ensuring that the estate's wines remain above all a source of pleasure that respects the environment... Discover the 'Clins d'Oeil', 'Parisiennes', 'Saint-Bernard', 'Clos Marguerite', and discover an appellation that will undoubtedly surprise you.

Room No. 1

Enjoy an extraordinary experience by staying within the grounds of Château de Couches. Take advantage of the serenity of the location and the grounds at dusk for a moment of relaxation before a peaceful night in the heart of Burgundy.
 
Room No. 1 is bright, spacious and welcoming. It has a large double bed and a bathroom with shower and bathtub (cot or child's bed available on request). It also offers air conditioning, WiFi and all the little details that make a place beautiful.
 
The price includes breakfast and a welcome that only Burgundy can offer.
As a guest in our bed and breakfast, you also enjoy privileged access to the restaurant and its terraces.
 
Our guests are allowed to park their vehicles within the castle grounds below the main courtyard, but as covered parking had not yet been invented in medieval times, you will have to make do with the shade of the trees. For more modern steeds, an electric charging point is available.

Rest assured, the Family Suite is not located in the basement, but is simply the combination of Rooms No. 2 and No. 3. This suite features a large double bed, a bathroom with shower and bathtub and two single beds (cot or child's bed available upon reservation) . The Family Suite also offers air conditioning, WiFi and all the little details that make a place special.

 
The price includes breakfast in your room and a welcome that only Burgundy can offer, with its culinary traditions and estate wines to enjoy on site.
 
Our guests are welcome to park their vehicles within the castle grounds below the main courtyard, but as covered parking had not yet been invented in medieval times, you will have to make do with the shade of the trees. It is now possible to recharge your electric vehicles at the charging station.
